Okay friends! I’m slightly embarrassed to be posting my very first beauty tutorial. I am not a video expert and certainly not a beauty expert, but I promised a few of you this tutorial. I have been doing loose curls in my hair now for about 10 years and I’m addicted. I love how simple it is, but has big impact!
My best tip is to just do it! And keep doing it. Practice seriously makes perfect. It will become second nature in no time. I have linked all the products below and also in my You Tube video here.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask and I’m happy to help!
Here is a list of the items that I featured in the video. I’m going to start with one that I forgot to mention in the video.
Salt Spray: This stuff is great if you have clean hair to start with! It helps hold the curls and gives your hair some texture.
Moroccan Oil: I’m still obsessed with this stuff and use it on the tips of my hair when its wet.
Batisse Dry Shampoo: This is the dry shampoo I have probably been using for 12 years. It’s cheap (approx. $6 a bottle) and it works great! I’ve tried expensive brands, but always go back to this.
Its a 10 Leave in Conditioner: My hair still needs this even when I use conditioner in the shower. I love this stuff.
T3 Trio Wand Set : This set is such an investment. I would honestly suggest using a less expensive version for awhile to get the hang of doing curls first. Then upgrade to something like this. I love it and the 1″ straight barrel is my favorite.
TIGI Fat Curl Stick : This is the wand that I used for the last 9 years before getting the curling iron above. It works great (I promise) and is $100.
Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray: This stuff is fairly pricey, but I linked the travel size which is a good place to start. The first time I used it, I wasn’t sure I liked it. Then I became obsessed. It is NOT a dry shampoo. It is a texturizing spray that works great to give your hair really good Volume!
I think I covered everything! Please feel free to ask questions. This video was meant to give you my real everyday look. I am a Mom of two young kids and I am lucky if I get 4 minutes to get my hair done. That is why I do it in larger sections and don’t take the time to section my hair off in 10 different sections. It’s just not feasible for me every day. And I promise, if I can do this, you can too!!!
And, if I could ask ya’ll a huge favor, I would love for you to subscribe to my You Tube channel, here! I’m working on more video content and would love you to follow along. And if you have any ideas for other video content, share it below.
