Okay, friends!!! This is my first time including a gift list for Teachers and I just love it! Thanks to my readers for recommending this one because I struggle with it all the time too. So here is what I did….I surveyed my very trustee teacher friends and had them share with me all their favorite gifts they have received in the past!! I always struggle with what to get our teachers to show them how much we appreciate them and then usually give a gift card. I often times would feel bad about that, but guess what??? Gift cards/money is their favorite!!! Who doesn’t love some extra holiday money?
So I find that we typically let parents give their own gifts at Christmas time (whatever that may be) and then at the end of the year, we love to compile money from all the parents and give them one big gift card or cash. I have been a room Mom for a few years now and that seems to be the trend.
So today I am gathering up some cute personalized gift ideas if you wanted to give them something besides a gift card during the holidays. I really received some great feedback from my friends and was so thankful.
Personalized Lunch Box // O Key Ring //Personalized Teacher Notes // Monogrammed Tote //Personalized Sticky Notes // Orchid //Nest Holiday Candle // Yeti Coffee Mug // Monogrammed Robe // Gift Cards // Essential Oil Rollers + Case // Monogrammed Blanket // Manicure/Pedicure Gift Card
Personalized Lunch Box – Most teachers bring their own lunch for school and I thought this was a cute idea. Get their name put on it and these handles make it super easy to carry to and from school.
O Key Ring – I am pretty much putting this on every gift list the year because I love this concept as well as the fact that you can grab a cute one for $25 or a fancy one for $75! I go nuts trying to dig for my keys in any purse that I ever carry. This O ring helps make keys easy to find as well as easy to just throw on your wrist if you are out and about.
Personalized Teacher Notes – “From the Desk of…” What teacher doesn’t need a personalized note pad??
Monogrammed Tote – I love these canvas totes and they come in several different sizes. You can purchase the medium size right now for 50% off making it $14 plus another $8 to monogram and you have the cutest gift!
Personalized Sticky Notes – Love these personalized sticky notes !
Orchid/Plant – Grab a nice orchid at your local grocery for around $25. I love mine from Fresh Market if you have one. They can last up to 3 months and are super low maintenance and I have a black thumb!
Nest Holiday Candle – Any nice holiday candle would be a fun treat for your teachers.
Yeti Coffee Mug – Yeti does everything right and the idea of drinking HOT coffee out of this cute mug at school just makes me smile!
Monogrammed Robe – How cozy does this look for winter? Again, grab it 50% off and then add a monogram to make it super personal. They will thank you all winter long.
Gift Cards – Target, Amazon, Starbucks, wherever…… They will love it!
Essential Oil Rollers + Case – This is a cute gift idea if you or someone you know does essential oils. You can make up a few different oil rollers (stress, sleep, headaches, happy, calming, etc) to share with your teachers that they can use throughout the year.
Monogrammed Blanket – A cozy blanket for their couch with their monogram on it will always be special to snuggle up with.
Manicure/Pedicure Gift Card – Every teacher would probably enjoy being treated to getting their nails done. Who doesn’t love being pampered???
Cute “Gift Basket” Ideas
So I also love the idea of putting together a cute gift basket idea for teachers. Here are a few ideas that came to mind.
At Home Movie Night – I have seen some cute ceramic popcorn bowls in the Target dollar section and you could fill those with some candy, Netflix gift card, a bottle of wine or goodies to enjoy at home.
Date Night Basket – Give a gift certificate to a local restaurant in town and maybe a bottle of wine to bring with them.
Emily Ley Monthly Calendar Magnet – You can now find Emily Ley at Target. You could put together a really cute basket of paper goods from her collection. I love her pens, calendars, magnets, etc.
Casserole Carrier filled with Cookies, Dinner or Special Treat
Hope these ideas help!! Your teachers are so grateful for anything and we are certainly grateful for them!!
