Holiday Gift List 2017 | For the Toddler Boy and Girl

WELCOME FRIENDS!!!

It’s the very first gift list of the season!  How can it already be Christmas time???? I was just at the beach like a week ago with 85 degree weather.  Seriously though, Christmas will be here before we know it and I’m getting a head start this year.  Did you know there are only 46 days left to shop??

I’m starting today off with the kiddos!! I’ve separated it between toddler girl and toddler boy.  My daughter (Madelyn) is 2 and my son (Brody) is 4, so those are pretty much the targeted ages amongst these gifts.

I rounded up our tried-and-true favorites at the end of the post too.  These are items that we have owned over the last four years and my kids have been obsessed with.  The items that have kept their interest the most/longest and are great for both girls or boys!

Happy Shopping 🙂

Wooden Doll House

Madelyn is probably still a little young for this wooden play house with all the pieces, but I couldn’t help myself with the Magnolia collection was released at Target.  I think Brody will actually enjoy playing with it too and thought it would be something fun they can do together.

Radio Flyer Classic Tricycle (also comes in red)

We used to have a smaller red tricycle for Brody that was plastic by Radio Flyer when he was little.  I really wanted a bike for Madelyn this year, but I think she is still too young.

Doc McStuffins Hospital Care Cart

Madelyn loves Doc McStuffins and got the dress up kit for her birthday.  I thought this care cart would be fun to add to her collection and she can play doctor to her stuffed animals and baby dolls.

Talk & Trace Clipboard

This little clipboard is just something extra to go with the Care Cart above.

20 inch JC Baby Doll

This baby doll is the BEST. It is 20 inches long which is the size of most newborn babies.  She carries it everything. It can wear newborn size diapers and clothes.  So whip out your old newborn clothes and let her dress her babydoll.

Badger Basket 3-in-1 Stroller/Pram/Baby Carrier

I bought a similar pram to this on Zulily about a month ago for Madelyn.  I thought it was so cute for her babydoll because she loves to push things.  This one is really great because it folds up and is three items in one! You can use it as a pram, but also take it off for a regular stroller and just a baby carrier.

Little Tikes Magical Unicorn Carriage

I’m dying over this cuteness!! We don’t have any Little Tikes cars for the kids and now I want one.  This was is so fun and I’m obsessed with unicorns.  It’s brand new and I think your little princess would love it!

Disney Princess Dress Up Trunk

I feel like this princess trunk comes at such a great price and love that it has four Disney princesses.  Madelyn is just getting excited about dressing up and I love these sweet princess outfits.  I’m sure I will be kicking myself in about a year when she is kicking and screaming to wear her costumes to school because she refuses to take them off.

Optimus Prime Transformer

My three year old nephew has a bunch of these transformers and Brody loves them.  I thought we would start his collection this year for Christmas.  It converts from a robot to a tow truck.  They are really cool and keep the boys entertained!

Melissa & Doug Standing Easel

Brody played with this set at a friend of ours house and it made my heart so happy to see him get creative and enjoy painting and drawing.  Before that, I never really saw him get into any arts & crafts too much.  He was having a ball with his little pal and I thought this was the perfect station for the little artist.  You can paint, write with chalk, dry erasers or draw. Here is the kit with everything to purchase with it.

Batbot Xtreme

Ya’ll this thing is huge.  It is over two feet, has wings, projectile launchers, voice changer and a motorcycle.  Brody has his heart set on this thing.  He is really just starting to get into the superhero phase.  He saw this one on TV and immediately added it to his Christmas list.

Paw Patrol Sea Patroller

We are big fans of Paw Patrol around here.  We have just about everything from the collection.  Brody loves the new sea patrol series and wants to add this sea patroller to his collection.  They also have this cool new Beach Patrol tower if you are fans.

Lookout Tower

This tower is probably as big as a toddler too, but since Brody has every single paw patrol car, I know he will love having the lookout tower to play with.  His imagination is huge and I love watching him play pretend.

Chutes and Ladders (Board Games)

I’m pretty excited to get into board games with the kids.  I think this year for Christmas would be a good year to get Brody a couple.  I’m going to start with this one.  I also love Candy Land, Connect Four and Guess Who? (when he’s a little older).

Wiggle Car

I purchased these two little wiggle riders for both kids on sale at Zulily awhile back.  They looked like a lot of fun and something both kids could do together.

Leap Frog Laptop

I always like to get a learning tool for the kids.  Now that Brody is 4 and in Pre-K, they are really learning things like identifying letters, numbers and more.  So I thought this would be a fun tool for him.  Does anyone else have a favorite Leapfrog for toddlers?  I would love recommendations.

TRIED AND TRUE FAVORITES (4 and Under Boy & Girl)

Here is a few items that we have owned over the last 4 years and have consistently been a favorite year after year.  These are great too because they work for both boys and girls over several years.  These have been the favorites in our house:

Radio Flyer Walker Wagon

Kitchen Set

Magnatiles

Melissa & Doug Puzzles

Melissa & Doug Dress Up

Power Wheels Jeep Wrangler

Check here for our gift list from last year for the kids, here!  The kids were one and three, so that might help a little more with those ages too!
