Hot Crabmeat Dip

I’m actually shocked that I have never shared this dip with you girls before!  This dip is a family favorite dating back many, many years.  We just had it at Thanksgiving (a double recipe) and we typically make it for any large event because our family loves it!! It is important that you have access to really good jumbo lump crabmeat!  It’s not cheap, but I promise it is worth it! Once you get the crabmeat, the rest of the recipe is super simple!

Hot Crabmeat Dip

1lb Jumbo Lump Crabmeat

8 oz package Cream Cheese

4 Chopped Green Onion

Chopped Red Pepper (optional, I usually omit)

1 tbsp Butter

1/4 Cup Dry White Wine

Tony’s Seasoning

1/2 tsp Worsteshire Sauce

Tabasco to taste

Lemon juice

Squeeze lemon juice on crabmeat.  Season with Tony’s, tabasco and Worsteshire sauce.  Saute green onions (and bell pepper if using) with butter.  Add in cream cheese.  Stir until melted.  Add in White wine and mix.  Fold in seasoned crabmeat.  Gently stir until all is warm.  Serve with Carr’s crackers.

Thank You!! Sorry I missed that. Just updated. You pour in white wine after you put cream cheese in. Mix all together and then fold in the crab meat 🙂
