Madelyn’s 2nd Birthday Celebration

We celebrated Madelyn’s 2nd birthday last night.  I’ve known for about 6 months that I wanted to do something around Winnie the Pooh because she fell in love with that show around 18 months and has been obsessed ever since.

Matt and I were supposed to be leaving town today, so I had planned to do something small all along.  I kept going back and forth on dates, whether to actually have a party, or just do a small dinner with family.  Thankfully, it all came together at the last minute because I was being so indecisive.  We simply ordered pizza, I made a salad, and we picked up a cake.  It was as easy as that!

And we had a blast!  She had a day full of baby dolls and just a few sweet Pooh Bear decorations.  I even forgot to take a picture of her birthday cake, but we did get some video of everyone singing happy birthday to her!

She woke up on her birthday morning and came downstairs to doughnuts and birthday presents!  We got her a Bitty Baby with a few cute clothes and my Mom got her the Bitty Baby changing table.  She was so excited.  She continued to get all kinds of cute babies and baby gear throughout the day and she was in heaven.

I had someone ask about whether the TBBC baby doll clothes fit the Bitty Baby.   They fit perfectly!!! And they look so cute on her.  I love the sweet doll clothes.  And for anyone that doesn’t know what the Bitty Baby is….it is part of the American Girl Doll collection.  It is so sweet and I had so many of you write to say that you remember playing with those dolls when you were little.  It’s so sweet to watch them care for these little babies.

So here’s a look at her sweet day… Happy 2nd Birthday Madelyn Faye 🙂

I have two boys ages one and three and wanted to know where you get your son’s clothes?
    Thanks!

Thanks. It’s the boon flair and you can get different colors rather than the orange or change them out when you want. I love that it’s on wheels and light to maneuver.
