New Years Eve 2018

We had a really fun NYE this year which was kind of a last minute thing.  Matt told me about a week or less before NYE that he was going to have to go in for a minor surgery (shot) early that morning on NYE.  I was worried when he told me because I wasn’t sure how he would be feeling for the rest of the day.  When I told some of our friends, they were like, let’s just hang at your house and that way if Matt’s not feeling great, he can just head up to bed 😂. We ended up deciding to have people over and it was a blast!! I had everyone bring food which was amazing.  All I had to do was have the house ready and of course I got carried away with the fun decorations!  I had a lot of leftover decorations from last year and then hit up party city for a few extra things.  I bought the mylar balloons from Party City and had them blown up on Friday and NYE wasn’t until Monday.  They still looked so awesome and made my life a lot easier.  So that’s just a little extra tip 🙂

I used all plastic plates which was the best and bought some really cute clock cookies from a local bakery!  I have definitely had a thing lately with Photobooths!  A few months ago, I fell pray to instagram marketing for this round 12″ ring light that holds your phone or DSLR camera and has a bluetooth remote.  Well, it turns out that it is super fun to use for photo booths!! So, I set one up for NYE and loved it.

My gold dress that I am wearing is an old Lilly Pulitzer for those that have asked.  I didn’t link a lot of items today, but if you have any questions of where something came from, just leave me a comment and I will answer those 🙂

Happy New Year!!
