Happy Halloween from the Captain America Fam!
I let Brody pick his costume this year and he said he wanted to be Captain America. We went to the store and picked out his costume in early October and thankfully he never changed his mind.
I found Madelyn her little Captain America woman outfit on Amazon and then the cutest little set for Molly on Etsy. Her’s is made of felt and was meant to be little newborn photo prop items. I loved the way it turned out.
My outfit was one of these scandalous Captain America costumes from Amazon that I needed to add leggings too and then a T-shirt over top to be comfortable in. Then I just added my Hunter boots and it all worked out. I found Matt and I’s t-shirts at Target for $12.99. Matt kept saying how soft it was 🙂
We got dressed around 4pm and got dressed to head to our Church/School’s Trunk or Treat. They did a great job and we were able to walk around, grab some candy and see some of their school friends. We also got to trick or treat with our cousins! How cute do they all look??
After the trunk or treat, we went to a neighborhood party in Gulf Breeze at the park. This is always one of our favorites because everyone brings food, the kids can run around and play and then once it gets dark, everyone goes trick or treating. This year, instead of trick or treating there, we went to a friends house in Aragon in Pensacola to let the kids trick or treat. It was a little more laid back and the houses are all close together, so we knock out a bunch of houses pretty quickly! Even though we dressed Molly up, she stayed back with my MIL while we went trick or treating.
Another great year in the books!
