We spent this pas weekend at home enjoying a few more warm weekends with friends and family. Friday evening me and the kids went over to my SIL’s house to play for a bit. Brody was dying to ride his riding toys. We ended up picking up some sushi and having an early dinner over there.
On Saturday, my other SIL and her family came in town from Montgomery and we all headed out to the beach in the morning. It was very pleasant and the kids had so much fun playing with their cousins.
Saturday afternoon we had a 1st birthday party to go to. The theme was Wild Things and I swear, it was the cutest!! I loved all of her decorations and all the details. I tried to take photos if anyone has a little boy party theme that they might need ideas for!
Sunday we took the kids to the pool with our cousins. They played for awhile before it was time for lunch and naps. On Sunday afternoon, Matt and I got on a roll. We started cleaning out and getting rid of stuff in our playroom closet. I can’t believe what a difference it made. I’ve been getting quite a few things done these last few months when it comes to organizing and knocking out to-do lists items. I hope to share them all in a post soon.
I have to admit that it helps me a lot to have Matt clean out toys and things with me because he has less of a “sentimental feeling” towards most of the items. He is good at being more aggressive at just getting rid of things where I’m like…Oh, well yeah. They still do play with that…once in a blue moon 🙂
And if you haven’t shopped the Lilly sale yet, today is a much better day then yesterday!! There are still plenty of good items still available and you don’t have to wait in line! Its the little girls clothes that sell out so fast and are mostly gone :(. I rounded up some of my favorites on yesterdays post.
