Scenes From Our Weekend

Happy Monday, friends!!  We spent the weekend at home with the kiddos and had some family come in town at the last minute to visit which was lots of fun!

Friday morning I went to the new Pure Barre Empower class and finally signed the barre!  It was for my 100th class.  I love these classes so much and it seems like it’s taken me forever to get to my 100th class, but that’s because I blame it on my pregnancy with Madelyn.  I was so sick, I think I only made it to about 8 my entire pregnancy with her! I literally started Pure Barre the month I found out I was pregnant with her.  I was so sad when I was too sick to go.  Anyway, I made it and that’s all that matters 🙂

Friday evening we ended up picking up dinner from McGuires,  a local restaurant.  I had actually been to Fresh Market earlier that day and picked us up a nice dinner to cook at home.  When I got it home and was about to start cooking, I smelled the meat and it was rotten.  I was so sad.  Thankfully, the next day I was able to bring it right back up to Fresh Market and they were so kind and understanding and gave me a full refund.  They felt terrible.

Saturday morning was Brody’s second soccer game.   I was a little nervous because last weeks game didn’t go too well.  Thankfully, he did great!! He was so much more involved.  His coach was back and I realized that was the reason he was so nervous last week to hang with the team. They had a substitute coach their very first game and they didn’t really understand it.  So, all was well even though I realize it’s still going to be a long season!!! His cousins were in town and came to cheer on his game!!

On Saturday evening, we went to our friends house to celebrate a birthday.  It was just a fun cookout and football party.  We watched the end of the Gator game there and I was so excited to get a win against Tennessee in the last seconds of the game! We didn’t take any photos at the party but here’s a good Uber selfie 🙂

Saturday night Brody spent the night at his Grammy’s house with all of his cousins.  He loves a sleepover these days.  So we just had Madelyn on Sunday morning.  We took her out to brunch with us and then on the way home my Mom called.  She wanted to play with Madelyn, so we dropped her off at her house for about two hours before we all went over there to grill out.

Since we found ourselves kid free for a few hours on Sunday morning, we walked to grab a couple of drinks outside. #sundayfunday!

We headed to my Mom’s house around 1pm and grilled out hamburgers and hotdogs with the family.  The kids went swimming and had fun playing with their cousins!  It was a pretty day and perfect way to close out the weekend.

I hope everyone has a great week!!! xoxo
