Scenes from Our Weekend | Baby Boy Shower

I hosted a friend of mine’s baby shower at the house this weekend and outside of that, the rest of our weekend was pretty low-key.  So today, I’m going to share photos from the shower with all of you.

I love how everything turned out for the shower and a lot of the sweet little details.  Eight girls were giving the party and everyone was a huge help doing their own part.  My job was the invitations and decorations.  I ordered the invitations from La Belle Fete who also did Madelyn’s Sip and See invites. I breezed by Michael’s to find some of my trusty, Martha Stewart, decorations and they turned out just perfect.  I can’t rave enough about how easy she makes her decor which is always so nice when doing some last minute decorating.

I got these cute cards that send well wishes to the new baby from this Etsy shop. They are super inexpensive and easy to print.  It was funny to watch people fill them out because they can really make you think to hard.  I think they are best when you write the first answer that instantly comes to mind 🙂

I found those cute letters at Michael’s to spell out babies name and of course the garland is Martha Stewart.

If you are local, we had the food catered from Nancy’s Haute Affairs and this Honey Smoked Salmon was delicious!

The flowers were done by Fiore and we had the cutest carriage cookies as party favors and I forgot to even ask where we got them from! Whoops.

Hosts…

And I went with a blue dress since the party was for baby boy!! It’s an old Vince dress that I decided to pair with some pearls.

I sent Brody with Matt for the day and told them they needed to get out of the house for a few hours.  Matt bundled him up in his pilots jacket and they toured the Naval Air Museum.  How cute is that??

And this little bundle of joy who is just getting cuter and sweeter by the day snuggled with my MIL for the afternoon while we partied.  She just turned 4 months old and I’m really loving this stage!
It was a cold weekend and nice to bundle up and hang around the house.  January has been crazy busy for us.  I feel like I never got a breather after the Christmas holidays and we jumped straight into a month of lots of parties and plans.  I’m looking forward to this week and weekend to just slow down, get back to a normal schedule and do some relaxing 🙂  I hope all of you that were in some crazy snow storms have thawed out for the new week…

  9. I will come back to this place, its huge and open, and have really tall ceilings. Wait staff was also pretty good. Bartender at venues in Atlanta was awesome and personable. I was really pleased with my party here. Ha! I highly recommend these guys.
