Scenes From Our Weekend | Madelyn’s Birthday

It has taken me all week to get recover from a wonderful birthday weekend and I am just now getting around to posting about it! Madelyn turned FOUR this past Saturday and we had a super fun Unicorn Tea Party for her and Molly to celebrate. I have so many fun pictures from the party that I will dedicate a whole post to the party. Today I am just going to share a recap of the entire weekend and I promise I will give you the full party recap next week.

We had stayed home and chilled on Friday evening while I finished up on a few birthday party decorations. We woke up Saturday morning and celebrated Madelyn’s birthday with breakfast and birthday presents! She had lots of baby doll stuff, a scooter from her Grammy and Peppa the Pig Circus from her Auntie. Matt took Brody to his soccer game while we finished getting ready for the party.

The girls had a very special tea table set up just for them.  They had tutus and boas and pearls and more.  It was so cute to watch them be fancy!

We included the boys too and they had a Knights table which was pretty darn cute too.  Brody helped me set up this whole table and it was so sweet.  He gets into decorating with me.

We had a face painter come and paint all of the kids faces.  This is Sophie from Sophie’s Smiley Faces and she is so incredible!  The kids looked amazing.

The party was from 3:30-5:30 and when the party was over, we had several people stay and watch the football games afterwards.  We had so much fun!

Sunday morning I headed out to baby shower for Baby Bell. It was so cute.  All of the decorations were adorable and the Mama to Be looked beautiful!

Sunday evening we had dinner reservations with my family at Angelena’s for my brothers birthday.  We had just the adults and it was so much fun!  My Brother was in NYC for his actual birthday so we were excited to celebrate with him at home.

And you guys got a laugh out of this on my instagram.  So Brody had his very first school project due this week.  He is in KINDERGARTEN.  He had to build his Elementary school out of a shoe box.  So that is what we did.  This is what it looked like and I know it is so bad.  But he is 6! You guys wouldn’t believe these gorgeous buildings kids were walking in school with! It was so over the top!

Anyways, I hope ya’ll have a great weekend!  I’m so glad that I am finally recovered just in time to step into another weekend 🙂

Happy birthday Madelyn! That looks like the most fun party – I would totally go to one of those for adults! And what the heck is with these school projects? I swear they are doing it to give the parents homework 😉
