Scenes from Our Weekend

Another Monday has already rolled around…how did that happen so fast??  We had another low-key weekend at home with the kiddos and some pretty fantastic weather.
Friday evening I stole some snuggles in my bed with the kiddos after all of our naps!! That’s right.  I got a nap too 🙂  We all got to lay like this for what seemed like 20 or so minutes and it was so sweet.
Dad got home and we played outside and ordered our favorite pizza for dinner.  It was an easy night and suited us just fine!
Saturday morning we hit up a new favorite for breakfast.  The coffee bar here really makes it for me, but the food is also amazing.  It’s not far from the house and I’m pretty sure I could eat here every weekend.
We ran a quick errand after breakfast and then when we got home, I decided to load both kids up on the stroller and go for a long walk.  It was so gorgeous out and both kids did awesome!! I was so excited because I was worried how Brody would like facing backwards in the stroller.  (For those of you in the stroller game, this is the 2013 Uppababy Vista.  They have since come out with a new 2015 version and it allows for the toddler to be forward facing.)
When we got home, it was time for naps and then the Gator vs LSU game!  I got Madelyn in some orange and blue hand-me-downs. I had to add her big blue bow to make sure she looked like a girl.
When we all got to the man cave to get ready for the game, these two cuddled up for about 15 seconds and acted like they really cared about cheering on my Gators.
It was a sad Gator loss on Saturday night, but it was still a great game.
Sunday we went out for breakfast again. This breakfast thing seems to be the best time for us to venture out as a family of four.  Madelyn just sleeps in her carseat next to the table and Brody is really getting easier and easier to take out to eat.  Breakfast also happens to be his favorite meal, so I think that helps too!
They had a few fun things going on this weekend close to the house, so Dad took Brody out for a buggy ride to check it out while I fed baby Madelyn at home.  This picture cracks me up as I sent my little redneck boys off in their camo golf cart around town!
We ended the weekend with an afternoon party over at my brother’s house and some nice family time.    This little sweetheart is fitting right into the family and truly feels like she’s already been with us forever.

Have a great week to all of you! xoxo

Love your fun weekend! Your precious girl is just the sweetest, Annie. Keep those bows coming – as feminine as Vivian looks to me, we still keep those bows on her head so that no one has a problem telling she's s girl:)

Low key weekends really are the best and are much needed to recharge. My weekend was filled with nothing and it was the best!
