Welcome to another Thoughts for Thursday. We’re so glad to have you and if you didn’t notice last week, we have a new host to start the year. Julie from Borm and Co is joining Natalie and I for the weekly link-up. If you didn’t get a chance to check out her blog, be sure to visit this week! She is the sweetest.
Let’s get to it. I have fallen so behind this week. It has taken me days instead of hours to recover from a girls getaway weekend! #thisisthirties Writing this post has seemed so daunting to me all week instead of fun! There is so much information I wanted to include, I couldn’t decide how I wanted to structure it. So I’ve decided to break it into two posts. Today I’m sharing photos from our trip and then I will write a separate post on how to plan this trip for a large group. We had 14 girls all traveling from the East coast to enjoy 3 nights in Napa/Sonoma; so there was LOTS of planning involved! Here’s a quick recap:
I left early Thursday morning for the airport and I was ready for a great escape! My flights when smooth as can be and I was so grateful.
Thursday afternoon most of the girls arrived and we all settled into our fabulous house for the weekend! This was our view :). We got dressed for the night and headed out to dinner in Downtown Sonoma.
Dinner at The Depot. I wore one of my favorite Leopard dresses from a season or two ago and it’s still available this season.
We got back to the house and drank more wine, caught up and tested out our personal Snapchat filter for the weekend!
Friday was a full day at the Vineyards!! We started with Champagne to kick things off at both Buena Vista and Chandon and then ended up with wines at Conn Valley.

Saturday night we hired a chef to come to the house to cook for us. It was so nice to come home after a long day at the vineyards and have dinner ready for us!
Saturday was another day full of vineyard tastings. We had rain predicted the whole weekend while we were there, but it never rained long periods of time. It would come and go throughout the day.

Our last night we ate leftovers, indulged in lots of cheese and drank all the wine as we celebrated the the bride-to-be. It was the perfect finale night to our trip!
If you have a Napa trip in your future, stay tuned for a post to give you all the details!

What a fun weekend! Wine, girlfriends, vineyards, and celebrations…is there anything better? Have a great day!
What a FUN way to do Napa! I need to get back down there soon…love the idea of a personal chef for dinner one night!
Thanks gal!! We had fun!! I made sure to look at the recap that you, Laura, Cait and Stephanie did when planning our trip!!! The chef was such a fun touch especially since trying to go out with fourteen girls isn’t easy!
Annie your trip looked amazing! Makes me want to book a Napa trip ASAP! Love all your outfits too 🙂 Hope your weekend is relaxing!
Thanks gal!!! So glad to have you for our link-up 🙂
This looks like a blast!! It’s on my bucket list to do Napa with girlfriends!
It’s definitely a blast. The first time I went was with my hubby which was so fun, but he doesn’t always appreciate wine as much as me and my girlfriends do 🙂
This is the best bachelorette idea ever and int looks like you all had so much fun!
