Scenes From Our Weekend | Spring Break

Last week was Spring Break for the kids.  We had no plans for the week (big mistake!) and had just hoped for nice weather.  Our cousins were coming in town from Montgomery the second half of the week which we were really excited about and hoping to get some good beach time in.  Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate; but we still managed to have a good time.

Friday we took the kids out to lunch because it was cloudy and then met our family out for dinner and snuggled up for a family movie night to watch Moana.  I’m obsessed with this movie and soundtrack! Saturday we had all of Matt’s family over for a seafood fry to celebrate his Dad’s birthday.  Matt fried it all up in our little Breville fryer we got for our wedding and it turned out amazing.  We continued to graze on all the food through dinner and my brother and SIL came over to join in on the fun.

Sunday ended up turning into a beautiful day.  We strolled through town and then headed to our friends house for a shrimp boil.  We played outside all day, watched basketball games and let the kids run wild.  The seafood turned out amazing and we closed out the weekend with a Sunday Funday.

Sunday Funday!

I hope everyone has a great week!  This is a Monday I was looking forward to.  I’m happy to get back into routine 🙂

I know!!!! It makes me so sad to tell people she’s gone!!! I still love following her beautiful little family on Instagram though. Have you seen the brand Crosby?? It’s so cute and I guess she used to work for Annie Griffin. We have a local boutique that carries it.
