Thoughts for Thursday

Hi Friends, Welcome to the first Thoughts for Thursday of the new year!  Natalie and I are both excited to have you here and appreciate all of you that come by week after week to join the link-up!  I wish I could say that I am so refreshed and organized to start the new year that I have a brand new, inspiring post for you today; but I can’t.  I don’t feel caught up at all.  I have multiple things hanging over me to wrap up.  And my kids still aren’t back in school!!! I’m trying to keep my sanity, get through the week and start my new year next week!!

Did I mention that I gave up all sugar and alcohol for two weeks too?  That’s probably not helping with my sanity.  Three days down, eleven more to go! (wha)  Wish me luck.

I have loved reading everyone’s goals for the New Year and those that are reflecting over the past year.  I have a few in mind myself and hopefully will share them with all of you sometime next week!

In the meantime, link-up with us below and hopefully I can pop by to most of you this weekend and say hello!

Getting back into the groove is so hard and doing it without sugar and alcohol is a quite the feat. I think you deserve a night out for that! 🙂 Have a great day!

I feel you girl – and bravo for no sugar OR alcohol. Whenever I take a long break on booze, I go right for the sugar so to give up both would be really tough. I will tell you, there is a twinings tea that I LOVE when I’m not having wine….its Honey, Vanilla chamomile. Check the sugar on it, but it might be the perfect night time treat!

I’m with you in giving wine a break, although I’m not ready to give up sugar. Let me know how you do, it’s always nice to try something new and give our bodies a break. Have a great week!

Happy new year lady! Props to you for giving up alcohol and sugar! I am 8 months into the no alcohol thing unfortunately and I all SO ready for a glass of prosecco… in fact my husband has strict orders to bring me a bottle and a Diet Coke to the hospital haha
