Toddler Easter Basket Ideas

I LOVE filling the Easter Basket.  It’s my first opportunity or excuse to give gifts to the kids post Christmas.  I always like to round up some of my favorites because there are lots of cute bunnies and eggs out there surprisingly.  My baskets for the kids usually consist of one Easter book, one stuffed animal (we love these Jellycat Bunnies), one toy egg item, and then usually a beach or sand toy.  Easter weekend usually kicks off the warm weather for us here in Florida and so its fun to add those.  Here’s a few of my favorites:

Crayola Bath Drops // Easter Egg Stampers //Llama Llama Easter egg // TBBC Knit Doll {50% off} // Hatch ‘Em Eggs // Hide and Squeak Eggs //  Melissa & Doug Sand Cupcake Set //  Monogrammed Jelly Cat Doll {20% Off with code BRODY20}// When I am Big Jelly  // Swim Ways Fish Styx  // Hanna Anderson Easter Jammies //  Eco Eggs Coloring Kit

Crayola Bath Drops – The kids love a colored bath!  They little drops are fun and easy to turn your water pink, yellow, blue or green.  Cheap fun 🙂

Easter Egg Stampers– I plan to give Brody these this year.  He’s into his arts and crafts lately and these are festive and cute.

Hide and Squeak Eggs – The kids got these last year and they are still obsessed.  Im not sure what it is about them, but they squeak and they love put them in and out of the carton.  It also helps them learn shapes and colors.

Hatch ‘Em Eggs – These look cute. Throw the egg into some water and over the next 48 hours you will have a new animal 🙂

Llama Llama Easter egg –  There are so many cute Easter books out there.  It honestly seems like we have 100 of them already and I may have to recycle some of our old ones into their baskets this year.

TBBC Knit Doll – These little knit dolls are so cute and very similar to the Blabla Dolls.  This little lamb is so sweet.

Eco Eggs Coloring Kit – I’ve actually not dyed eggs with the kids yet because it just seemed like a huge mess in the making, but I think Brody is old enough this year to enjoy.

Monogrammed Jelly Cat Doll – We love our Jelly Cat Bunnies so much.  They are the softest and make the best lovies for the kids.  Madelyn and Brody both have one.  They have 3 different sizes, but we love the large.  You can get 20% off your monogrammed bunny with code BRODY20.  Order before March 31st, to guarantee Easter Delivery.

When I am Big Jelly  – We are also JellyCat book obsessed over here.  It was the first books I could get Madelyn interested in because she loves to feel the pages.  They are short and sweet and make great bedtime books.

Swim Ways Fish Styx  –  They have these swim toys at our community pool and the kids always play with them the entire time.  I’d love to have a set at the house to play in the backyard pop up pool with them.  They are rubber and bendable.

Hanna Anderson Easter Jammies – We are HUGE Jammie fans around here and Hanna Anderson will forever be a favorite.  They are the softest cotton and last forever. They always have fun Holiday patterns too.

Melissa & Doug Sand Cupcake Set –  As I mentioned above, I love to put some new beach toys are swim toys in their baskets because by Easter, it tends to be warm enough for us to be outside a lot.  The cupcake set looks like it could entertain the kids for hours.

Great ideas. I’ve always looked for things other than candy to put in my children’s baskets.

I am 32, single, and childless… I am obsessed with JellyAnimals. All of them.
I give a goofy one like sloth, armadillo, etc, for a baby shower, then a Bunny, Cat, or Dog for the birth. I would LOVE an entire bed set made of the minky material.

I’ll have to look into the books for my youngest niece and nephew!

Such cute ideas! We just tried out the bath drops for the first time and Remington kept asking for more! Haha. I have those hide and squeek eggs on my list to get for Mason! Some snacks, bubbles, or bunny socks is some other things I have in mind too!

First off I want to say excellent blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head before writing. I have had trouble clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out there. I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or hints? Appreciate it!
