Today I wanted to talk a little bit about what to wear to Disney World. In some ways, this should feel pretty simple; but I know I scoured the internet trying to find information on this before both of my trips. I am one of those people that didn’t just want to wear workout pants or shorts to the park, but I wanted to be comfortable. So far, we have taken trips in February and now January. Our trip to February was actually quite warm and I was in shorts and short sleeves each day. I brought sweaters and cardigans for both me and the kids, but we rarely needed them.
This year, when we went in January and it was cold. We needed pants, long sleeves and another layer or two. It does warm up throughout the day, so I always say that layers are best. We always have strollers with us, so it’s very easy to just throw the extra layers in the bottom of the stroller. I have never really worried about people stealing those type of things while on a ride, so I just leave them there when we park our stroller.
Here’s a look at the things I packed for our trip during the second week of February. I was very comfortable the whole time and felt like I was very prepared!

I tried to snap a quick selfie for you guys each day, but I missed a couple. I enjoy wearing a little jewelry, but made sure that my earrings were really light weight and comfortable! Don’t wear anything heavy or could get uncomfortable.
Our day at Sea World, the sun was shining but it was still a little chilly. I wore my favorite faux leather leggings with a simple black long tee (one of my favorites that I own in both colors) and this great Zella top (40%off) that I wore over. I sported my favorite Vince sneakers when them and these sunnies! I forgot to add sunnies to the collage above, but make sure you don’t forget to pack sunglasses!!
On our first day of travel and to the parks, I wore this split back long turtleneck with my Barbour jacket and black jeans.
On another day, I wore a comfortable top, jeans, and my fuzzy jacket. I didn’t end up needing this jacket for long because it warmed up quickly.
We had one date night out, so I was happy I packed one pretty dress to wear out for the night. We ended up just eating dinner in the hotel, but it was so nice to get out together!
On our very last day, the temperatures warmed up and we hung at the hotel all morning to enjoy the pools and lazy river! I was happy that I packed one pair of shorts and tee just in case! We ended up getting to wear it!
For the kids, I love them in all things Mickey and Disney 🙂
I found the cutest Etsy shops this time around! I am obsessed with all the Disney appliqué stuff from Ellie’s Handmade! She was so sweet to expedite my goodies over the holidays because I found her at the last minute. Everything was perfect!!
I also went nuts in this precious shop for Madelyn, Pleats and Stiches. These princess dresses were just too adorable!
I also love the idea of having matching pajamas in our hotel room and don’t forget swim suits and cover ups. Just because it’s cold outside, doesn’t mean it will stop your kids from swimming. Most of the resorts make sure that they’re pools are all heated!
And lastly, don’t forget to bring your favorite princess dress for your daughter(s). We bought this little Cinderella dress for Madelyn while we were down there and I just fell in love!
I hope this helps you guys. My sweet friends, Sarah, also did a post on what to wear to Disney in the cold weather and is super helpful! She lives in Tampa and gets to Disney a lot. I read and reread all of her Disney posts before both of our trips!

Best dressed Disney mama!
I think the most accurate part of this post is showing that you can be SO bundled up one day and then in shorts the next! #Florida
We love to do Disney in January and February. It’s usually just fine to wear jeans and a sweatshirt, but I always pack gloves and a scarf for the fireworks! It gets pretty nippy after the sun goes down!
