Molly | Month Three

Three Months as of November 29th, 2018
Weight:  You actually lost a little weight this month because you were sick.  I think you weighed somewhere around 12 pounds. I can’t remember exactly.
Clothes: You wear newborn clothes and a couple of 3 and 6 month outfits.
Sleep:  You have been the BEST sleeper even when you were sick with RSV (with the exception of one night).  You are still sleeping in your Rock N Play sleeper which worked out well when you were sick because it helped to have you sleep a little bit on an incline.  You go to bed between 7pm and 730pm and sleep until around 6 or 7am.  You take several naps through out the day and usually one of them is about 2.5 hours.
Schedule: We still follow Moms on Call loosely. Once you got sick with RSV, we had to start feeding you more frequently with less ounces.  Since you were so congested, it seemed to work better for you.  Our day time routines change up a bit, but we keep a pretty consistent nighttime routine.  You get a bath sometime between 630 and 7 and then have your bottle and go to bed.
Health:  RSV 😭 You got sick the week of Thanksgiving and ended up at the doctor twice and the emergency room once during our trip to Rosemary Beach for Thanksgiving.  It was so sad to see you sick.  Madelyn had been sick the entire week before and I was praying you wouldn’t catch it, but you did.  You were still such a trooper.  You got your first fever the night of Thanksgiving and it kept you up all night long and early that next morning we got you checked out at the ER.  You had a tiny spot in your lungs and tested positive for RSV.  They put you on antibiotics and we were able to go home.  Thankfully you started recovering pretty quickly after that.
Crying:  You’ve been such a good baby.  You pretty much only cry when you are hungry!
Feeding:  You have been on breastmilk only so far.  You do morning feedings from the boob and pretty much the rest of the day you take a bottle.  I like knowing how much milk you get with each feeding.  We fed you more frequently with less ounces each bottle since you got sick.
Likes:  The swing, play mat, stroller rides, ergo carrier and you’re baths.  Bath time is relaxing for you which is so nice.  We take one every night before bedtime.  You get lots of love, kisses and attention from your big brother and sister too!
Dislikes: Being hungry, that’s about it.
Milestones:  You are smiling a lot more which I just love!! You are loving your new little playmat and coo and reach for the little animals.  You are sleeping through the night which has been wonderful.  You are alert and following me with your eyes when you see or hear my voice.
Places You’ve Gone:  We traveled to Rosemary Beach for Thanksgiving this year!
Postpartum:  I’ve been feeling great this go round.  I’ve lost all my pregnancy weight which feels good too.
Life with Three:  It’s been fun! We took our first trip with all 3 of you to Rosemary for Thanksgiving.  Thankfully we had some extra help from family because all 3 of you were sick during the trip which made it stressful!
Favorite Baby Item this Month:
The Ergo baby carrier! We used the heck out of that this month especially while on vacation.  It was so nice to be hands free and you seem to be pretty cozy in it.
