I always love documenting the kids heading back to school. This year my kids are headed into 4th, 2nd and Kindergarten. I can’t believe it! It is the first time that all 3 kids have been at the same school which feels pretty amazing. Getting back to school is always a bit hectic, but it feels so good to get back into routine.
The kids are holding up the cutest signs from Katie Corley Art for the first day and they also just flip to the other side to use for the last day of school. I love it.
Year ago, we started the tradition of a back to school breakfast on the first day of school. I usually set everything up the night before and the kids wake up and we try to enjoy a quick breakfast before school starts. It is always chaotic and I have to remind myself that probably just a quick breakfast of some powdered donuts are probably the easiest and best for the first day. I made this yummy overnight brioche French toast casserole and the kids really had no time to eat it, ha! We love this cute back to school sign from Type Set Co that is magnetic and so fun for the kids to play with.
The kids had so much fun meeting their teachers and seeing their friends back at school after a fun Summer. We love our teachers so much and our happy to be back at school.
We made these cute little charcuterie boards for the teachers back to school gifts this year. I used an Etu Home personal size board for the to keep and then just added some little snacks for them to munch on the first day of school.
