Five on Friday…
a little bit of random from my week
{One}
I’m already hooked to the new Bravo show that started this month called Summer House. It’s a group of NYC adults that spend the summers in Montawk. They stay in a huge, beautiful house on the beach and party like it’s their job. I think I like this one a lot because the characters are all about my age (barely thirty) hehe. They work hard and play hard and act like idiots most of the time. I think it could get pretty interesting 🙂

I’ve been working on a 2016 Book Review post for you guys. I didn’t read a ton of books last year, but I did read a few good ones. I’m so glad to get back into it and share what I’m reading with all of you. You can find my Goodreads profile here and I’d love to become friends. Here are two books that I’m currently reading (actually just finished Luckiest Girl Alive). Neither of them have blown my socks off, so that’s probably why I’m reading two at one time. I don’t usually do that. I have quiet a few good books on my “want to read” list. I would love hear some of your recent favorites.

One of my favorite TV shows in a long time is back on the air. SUITS! I love it and if you haven’t seen it before, start binge watching. There are six seasons and these boys aren’t bad to look at it either.

If you watch my instastories (@homeofmalones), then you may have seen that the Malone’s are headed to Disney next month! Our MagicBands arrived in the mail yesterday and got me so excited!! We haven’t been planning this trip for very long and I really didn’t know all that much about what we would do, but the girls at Mix and Match Travel have been awesome {Thanks, Erika}! They have it all planned out for us and I think we have the perfect itinerary. We’re staying at the Polynesian Resort. If anyone has a few great tips for traveling with two young ones to Disney, please send them my way!!!

A quick outfit of the day because there was lots of love for this adorable striped, ruffle blouse I wore this week. It happens to be on sale for $59 plus an extra 40% off with code GETSHOPPING. Lots of sizes still available.

I love summer house! I can’t get over that these people are in their late twenties early thirties. Can’t wait to hear all about your Disney trip! We are staying st the poly too. I’m going to need to pick your brain when you get back before we head there! Have a great weekend!
I know! I was so excited to see ya’ll were going too. I’ll keep you posted, but I know it will be a blast!
That striped top is so adorable! Happy Friday!
I love that striped blouse! And, please do a big ol’ Disney recap when y’all get back because I’d love to know some tips and tricks to take Walker in a couple of years! 🙂
You know I will!! I didn’t think we would go with the kids this young, but I’m certain we will be glad that we did!
Can’t wait to hear about your Disney trip ! You do great travel recaps – love the idea of breaking napa into two potions– have heard of your travel agents, because of blog sphere, but was hesitant to use them and didn’t because they don’t go the Parks frequently as a family ( missing some planning advice I was expecting). Just my two cents.
Thanks!! I will be sure to do a big travel recap when we get back and share any tips we learn along the way. My hardest decision so far was deciding on which hotel to stay at on the monorail. There are only three, but they all look great and seem to have their pluses and minuses!!
We just got back three weeks ago and stayed at the grand Floridian. Loved it and you are right monorail access is great. We have four kids ( 8,6,4 and 3) older too had been twice before but it’s the littlest two first time. You will all have a great time
Oh wow!! You’re a busy mama. What a fun family vacation. I was so tempted to do the Grand Floridian because I know it is so nice. I had heard Polynesian was a little more kid friend, but hey, it’s Disney! I know they are all kid friendly. What were your thoughts? Plenty kid friendly?
I definitely think so but I grew up visiting my grandparents in Boca Grande (so maybe it’s because it kind of reminds me of that), the room options seemed better for us fit wise. And they have more non buffet restaurant options (which I think makes life easier with kids as no one gets a break to sit if we are constantly on line).. just my two cents, I ended up not using a planner but you also live closer and will probably go more frequently than us. No matter where you stay you will have a great time! special memories for sure.
Yay for an upcoming trip to Disney! I bet y’all are going to have a blast. Have a great weekend!
I haven’t seen Suits but always wanted to watch it! Summer House looks like it could get addicting lol. Such a cute striped ruffled blouse! Thanks for hosting :).

Trendy & Tidy
You will love Suits!! The first few seasons are especially good. it’s starting to lose my attention a little bit now in this season, but that always happens to me towards the end of a long series!
So exciting about the Disney trip!!
I LOVE Suits too! Harvey is my favorite!
Hi Annie!
You have a cute blog with a darling home! Wanted to let you know it’s Montauk not Montawk. The inner Long Islander in me had to do it!
Have a great Sunday!

I just started Luckiest Girl Alive, and it is SO GOOD!
Best tip is 3 words…Prime Pantry Box. If you don’t have amazon prime sign up to try it the month of your trip. We used the service to deliver three 24 water bottles (8oz) plus propel electrolyte single envelopes and some serial boxes – you can see when you fill your box and it is only 5.99 flat rate to ship directly to your hotel. We ordered the week we were leaving -maybe 5 days before and the package was there upon our checkin. Address for Polynesian is 1600 seven seas dr, lake buena vista. You address the package to yourself and include “guest” and your arrival date. You can use garden grocer if you want wine and beer delivered ($40 minimum). Prime was So easy and saved us so much money on waters! Next trip we’ll probably order a second bos with snacks. The wdwprwpschool.com blog has great free tips as does touringplans.com. Polynesian is a great hotel and it helps that you can get a dole whip and tonga toast there. Total win!
