Welcome to Five on Friday. I’m sharing some updates from the week!
{One}
I made these Apple Cider Moscow Mules this week and they were quite yummy. They are a little on the sweet side, so I could only drink one; but I love this mix of Apple Cider and Carmel Vodka!
1.5 oz Caramel Vodka
3 oz Apple Cider
Top with Ginger Beer
Add apple, cinnamon stick or a dash of cinnamon on top for garnish!

Madelyn has been fairly cranky on and off all week. We all have had runny noses for about a week and I thought she was teething pretty bad. Turns out she actually has an ear infection and started with a cough. I’m praying that this winter does not knock us down with sickness as bad as last year did. It’s so sad when you can never have everyone well at one time.

I tried out the trend this week of tying a flannel shirt around waist and wearing it as part of my outfit. What are ya’lls thoughts on this look? I’ve really been liking seeing others sport it and I mostly love the idea of covering my big behind. I wore leggings and a shirt that was a tad shorter than I would normally wear by itself with leggings; but then with the flannel shirt, I felt better 🙂

I’ve seen Natalie make these Lasagna Roll-ups twice now on her Insta stories and they always looked so good. I made her send me the recipe and I made them this week. They were so yummy! Ya’ll want me to share the recipe next week? I adapted the one she sent to me.

Brody kept asking about Christmas and when we were going to start decorating, so I finally told him we could pull at the decorations for his room and maybe add a few to the playroom. We got his room all decorated, added a few things to the play room and everyone that came by our house had to go see it all! And then he had to wear his Santa jammies to bed. I love his excitement this year and his interest in the reason for the season.
What are your favorite Christmas books? We need to add a few to our small collection.
Have a wonderful weekend!
