They are still working on drying in the house. While I was in Charlotte this past weekend, Matt actually put on his old tool belt and went to work with the framers on Saturday. He sent me this photo from the day where they had most of the roof framed in. I can’t wait until they get the entire house dried in so that these framers can still work inside during all these rainy days we are having. It would happen that it is supposed to rain for like the next 10 days straight. I am also ready for them to get these stairs built so that I can walk through the upstairs.
It is hard to get interior photos right now, but here is a picture of part of the first floor. Our kitchen, dining room and family room are all wide open to each other. Those are french doors to the covered back porch and backyard.
Here is a picture of where my kitchen will be. The pipe you see coming out is where my kitchen sink will be in the kitchen island.
