On Sunday, we celebrated Molly’s baptism in a beautiful Mother’s Day service (minus the torrential downpour that we all had to go through to get to church that day). She was a total rockstar without shedding a single tear as the congregation welcomed her into the church and our pastor walked her around like Simba from the Lion King. Her siblings were most fascinated with the idea of the holy water being poured over her head and she took that like a champ too! After the service, we hosted a little baptism party at our house as well as a Mother’s Day brunch to celebrate the day.
It turned out to be a total blast and thankfully the weather cleared up for us as soon as church let out. We grazed over tons of appetizers, dined on shrimp and grits and had cake for dessert! It was a perfect Mother’s Day celebrating sweet Molly.
So lucky to haver our sweet friends, Courtney & Jared Martin, as her wonderful God parents 👼
