I know that jeans can be one of the hardest things to shop for and honestly, they are not my favorite thing to wear but they are just like a necessity sometimes. Lots of people look amazing in jeans, but I’ve never felt like one of those people. As I’ve aged, I have grown to embrace them a little more and try to show some love for them. I am picky about the brands that I like and once I find one that works for me; I truly stick with it!!
I am trying to give you guys a little variety here and show you a few different ones that I have found over the years.
I have shared some videos here talking about the denim as well as a short reel here if that is helpful. I will try and share sizing info for each and a photo.

Mother Mid Rise Dazzler Jean
If I have to pick a number one favorite jean, it is absolutely THIS ONE. This is the one that I reach for the most, the one that I feel my best in, and the one that is the most comfortable. It has plenty of stretch, I love the dark wash and it fits true to size. I wear a size 32 in these jeans. Keep in mind, I lightened this photo up just a little and it lightened up the jeans a tad. These are a really dark denim color in person.
Mother Tripper Jeans
Again, this Mother brand just has the most comfortable jeans in my opinion. This pair is cropped and in a lighter color which is just a tad less flattering in my opinion. I do love to have some lighter color jeans too to style, but they just “show” a little more. I am wearing a size 32 in these and they do have good stretch.
AG Farrah Skinny Jeans in Black
AG is probably the brand that I have been wearing the longest. I have their jeans in regular denim (here’s a cropped version) and also their velvet denim. I love them. They are so soft, comfortable and have lots of stretch. I wear a size 32 in these.
Agolde Riley Cropped in Zephyr Wash
These are a great pair in my opinion but I do think they take some getting used to. They have absolutely no stretch and definitely order up a size. But the beauty is that they never get so stretched out when you wear them that they start to look bad. They really hold their shape. I’ve learned to love them, but just wanted to put in my two cents. I size up to.a size 33 in these.
Levi’s 501 Skinny Jean
These remind me the most of the Agolde above but they are half the price! They have no stretch and you need to size up. They hold their fit really nicely and they are a nice thick jean that really holds you in. I size up to a 33 in these too.
DL 1969 Hepburn Wide leg Jeans in Eggshell
These jeans are like butter and a nice change from your regular denim. They are high waisted, have stretch and just a super comfortable pair of jeans. I wear my true to size, size 32.
