Seasonal home decor ideas are everywhere these days, and I love so many of the looks I am seeing. The typical color combinations for fall are always lovely, but it’s so nice to see a fresh take on a traditional theme. Recently, I saw a color scheme that truly inspired me, and I knew that I had to run with it!
I worked with items that I already had at home to create this eclectic Thanksgiving tablescape. I have always loved the combination of orange and blue, and the warmth of the amber adds a bright and unique element to the table.
The plaid cloth napkins (shown below) were part of my inspiration. I love this color palette. The colorful candles, with candlesticks of various heights, add visual interest and warmth.
I had used a few of these hurricanes and votives over the summer, and they added just the right amount of texture to this tablescape. I love it when items just work in unexpected ways!
I love the look of these chargers – they work perfectly with the colors and overall feel of the table.
The orange and yellow of the flowers, with the perfect proportion of green and white accents, provide the perfect fresh, finishing touch.
We still have plenty of time, but I think that this may be a front runner for this year’s Thanksgiving tablescape! What do you think?
Tell me about your Thanksgiving table! Do you like to brainstorm and come up with an original tablescape for each Thanksgiving, or do you stick with perfection and recreate the same design every year?
