That’s a wrap on Halloween this year. It was a month full of some fun holiday parties…costume parades, class parties, pumpkin carving and birthday celebrations.
The little girls decided together this year that they wanted to be the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus this year and I honestly thought they would end up changing their minds, but they stayed with it! I was down for the idea because I already owned my costume and we were able to just jump on Amazon and grab each of the girls their costumes.

Brody decided he wanted to be a football player again this year. He chose Justin Herbert from the LA Chargers. He told me awhile back that he thought he looked like Herbert, ha! It’s kind of true.
A community down the street from us throw an awesome Halloween party every year at the local park and everyone gets to gather together to see everyones costumes while the kids play and then around 6pm, people start trick or treating. Its a fun tradition and its great the kids can hit a few houses with friends and then call it a night. One of our friends lives in the neighborhood too and kindly has people over for dinner and one last stop after we finish trick or treating. This year was a chilly one, so we were excited to stop for some nice warm chili after being out in the cold weather!
I always love looking back at our costumes from year to year. I know I don’t have too many more years that my girls want to dress up with me and even trick or treat with us. I saw many of my friends this year that have older kids and how they just want to be with their friends and they don’t need Mama and Daddy anymore! I am going to try and soak these years up while I can 🙂
