Two home decor posts in a row, girls. Hope you don’t mind…
Every year I am always torn whether to decorate for Halloween come October 1st (sometimes earlier) or or just for Fall/Thanksgiving. I used to really only have Fall decor and I could just put it up on October 1st and leave it up until after Thanksgiving. Now it seems that I have acquired a decent amount of Halloween decorations because the kids love it and I kind of need to decorate for the two holidays separately. Do you guys have this dilemma too??
So I decided to pull out the Halloween decorations as well as a few basic Fall pumpkin items and put those up. Then I will add the rest of our Thanksgiving decorations and take down the Halloween decorations on November 1st!
Almost all of our Halloween tablescape decor has been collected over the last couple of years from Potterybarn Kids. They always have cute stuff and I love setting the kids table. The rest of the decor has been collected from random stores over the years.
^^Mickey and Minnie were purchased two years ago at Lowe’s or Home Depot. I can’t remember which one.
Confession– This picture below is from last year. I haven’t actually bought any pumpkins or mums for our front door this year. It’s been so darn hot here that I’ve been completely unmotivated and know I will just kill all my mums in a matter of days. And my pumpkins will rot :(. But maybe I will do it for November!
That’s the extent of our Halloween decorations this year. Do you decorate for Halloween?

And here our a few random Halloween photos from the month!
You know we love this Two Ingredient Bread. Next time we might try adding chocolate chips to it or I picked up some Fall colored M&Ms that are cute and we could make cup cakes instead of a bread loaf.
We got this Halloween Ginger Bread house as a gift but I heard they have them at Home Goods.
These costumes are from Halloween last year, but I love that they still love to wear them.
Do you have your costumes for Halloween this year??
