I haven’t posted much lately on construction updates of our new house because we’ve had a few setbacks including record amounts of rain this summer! We are finally getting some sunshine in August, but I swear it rained every single day in July. It was crazy. We also had some problems with the wood that was sent for all of our trim in the house and that has been quite the setback. We will move forward soon and in the mean time, I am doing my part in shopping for the pretty stuff for the house.
There are several places in our house that we will need pendant lights. Here they are:
– three over our kitchen island which will all be the same
– our master bathroom
– baby Brody’s nursery
– our entry hall (already purchased and shown below)
– our powder room downstairs
-and if I could have gotten my way, we would have had them in the office and in the master closet.
{One} I love the sputnik light fixture for Brody’s room. I think it’s so fun and funky. The one pictured is a very expensive version from Jonathan Adler, but I found one that I love for much less here.
{Two} This light from Restoration Hardware is a top runner for the pendants over our kitchen island. I’ve been eying these for so long, but I can tell they don’t necessarily please Matt’s taste.
{Three} This is a style I like for a possibility in our powder room. We need two pendants over the vanity.
{Four} This is beautiful and would look so pretty in our master bathroom.
{Five} Absolutely drool over this beautiful light from Restoration Hardware, but it is way out of my price range and I can’t seem to find one similar for a lesser price. I liked the look for an option in our master bathroom or would be beautiful in our kitchen.
{Six} This one is very similar in style and price to number two above and would be an option in our kitchen.
{Seven} Option for our powder room downstairs above the vanity.
{Eight} Love these Hicks pendants and would really like to use them somewhere around our house. I think they could be pretty in kitchen, or either powder room or master bathroom; but I’m not sure that I will end up using it anywhere.
{Nine} Beautiful, classic glass lantern that would be a traditional option for our kitchen pendants.
Which pendants do you like best?? I need help. There are so many beautiful options.
I found our entry hall lantern online at Layla Grace which is not where I purchased ours, but it looks exactly the same. I bought ours at a local retailer, but you can purchase yours, here.
I like 5! Plus you need a gas lamp on your front porch like a real NOLA gal. xo
and 9 🙂
