Happy Monday, Friends! We went into this weekend with basically no plans and managed to fill it up rather quickly with the perfect mix of family, friends, snuggle time and Sunday Funday! We really have had the nicest weather this January. We had a few more cold days this week, but it warmed up nicely by Sunday. We had friends over for dinner on Friday night and let the kids run a muck while the adults enjoyed a nice dinner.
Brody is obsessed with his Buzz lightyear jammies. Gap Kids has the cutest Disney collection right now. 
Saturday morning we got up for an early photo mini session for the kiddos. It was much colder than I was hoping and they kids weren’t too happy about it because I didn’t have them dressed in very warm clothes; but hopefully we got a few good ones!
That afternoon we went to our friends for an early dinner to let the kids run out some more energy.
Sunday we got to sleep in!! It was amazing. Madelyn slept until 8am and even though Brody woke up earlier, he came snuggling in our bed; so we all laid around until about 8:30am. We got up for breakfast out, went to visit Matt’s Dad, ran to Lowe’s and then we headed out to the beach for a gorgeous day outside. We went to lunch at Peg Leg’s where they have a playground for the kids and picnic tables outside to eat. I think we would have all stayed out there forever if the kids would have let us 🙂
It was nice to have a chill weekend at home. Hope everyone had a great one. Looking forward to a good week!
