I missed my weekend recap this week, so I thought it was better late than never!

Friday afternoon I spent the morning with out the kiddos and got a few last minute gifts around town. It was nice and cool out and was so fun to get the rest of my shopping done.

Friday evening we had a little wine tasting dinner at my Mom’s house. It was low-key and a lot of fun. My Mom’s boyfriend is a wine connoisseur and he led us through a really fun wine tasting. We even did a few beers and had to try to differentiate between beers like Natural Light, Bud Light, and Miller Light. That is much harder than you think!

Saturday we had a low-key morning with a wonderful pajama party. We made pancakes and danced around with no place to go. I loved it and so did the kids!

On Sunday, our friends from Mobile came over for a visit. They have kids the same ages as ours. The Dads and the little boys went to go see the new Star Wars movie while the girls hung out for a visit.
How cute are these two? I love seeing them together.
The boys had a blast at the movies because they even had Star Wars figures to meet and greet. The movie is 2 hours and 40 minutes long. I have no idea how he actually made it through the whole thing. He loved it!!
This Tuesday was the kids last day of school before Christmas break! They both wore pajamas to school and had pizza parties! I didn’t even get a photo snapped of Brody, but these pictures of Madelyn cracked me up!
Cheers to all the Mama’s who have to survive the next 3 weeks of Christmas break! Yikes!
