We had a nice weekend at home and enjoyed the kiddos! Friday afternoon, I picked up the kids and Madelyn was still insisting to have little Molly nap with her. I’m really starting to struggle to convince Madelyn to nap these days so I do whatever it takes. She wants to be in my bed and she wants Molly with her. I basically just leave Molly there long enough to get her asleep and then we move along to another room. But I can’t resist these sweet moments of them sleeping together because Molly is asleep like 80% of the days still 🙂
Friday night we had another friend bring over dinner to us which was so sweet and we visited and opened a little wine before it was time to get these kids ready for bed!! I’ve raised a son that has let me love for matching pajamas wear off on him. He wants to be in matching jammies as much as I do!!
Saturday afternoon was Brody’s second soccer game. They had their team pictures and he looked so big and cute! We got him a shorter haircut for all these hot soccer games and he looks so grown up!
Madelyn was as hot and sweaty as the players on the team! There was actually a tiny breeze, but it was a 12pm game, so still super hot!
Saturday after the game, Matt watched both of the big kids while I took baby Molly to go meet our friends out on Pensacola Beach!! I was so excited to meet her little girl who is now 4 months old and they got to meet Molly who now almost 1 month already! I can’t believe it!
So excited to raise baby girls together!!
Saturday evening we watched the Florida vs Tennessee game at home as a family. I made this delicious corn crack dip that I can’t wait to share with you guys. It was so yummy!
Sunday morning we snuggled on the couch and rallied for breakfast out! We quickly ran up to Sleep Number to finally pull the trigger on a new bed and I will definitely let you guys know what we think.
That afternoon while Brody and Matt ran a few more errands, my Mom and I brought the girls back out to the beach to visit friends again!! We all hung out, visited and watched the Saints game!
We quickly rallied again and headed to the Yacht club for a pretty night and an Oktoberfest event! They had a German buffet and band and the kids had a blast running around and dancing to the Chicken Dance!
We wrapped up the weekend with one more sibling snuggle and all said goodnight! It was a pretty busy weekend but fun to catch up with our New Orleans friends and enjoy some family time!
