Good Morning!! It’s the first day of OCTOBER! We had a really fun weekend at home visiting with my cousin! I broke out our Halloween decorations this week on Thursday when baby Molly and I were hanging at the house and the kids were at school. They were so excited when they came home and their favorite blow up Halloween Mickey & Minnie were out!
On Friday afternoon, Molly and I visited with some friends that were in town. I’m so sad I didn’t snag one picture of their visit! They had a little boy that was born two days before Molly.
My cousin, Alex, was flying in Friday evening and unfortunately her flight was delayed a couple of hours. Thankfully we were just grilling steaks at home and we were able to wait and cook dinner when she finally got to town! It was so fun to catch up and the kids were so excited to see her.
Saturday morning we sent Matt and Brody to soccer and me, Alex and the two girls all walked to breakfast at the Ruby Slipper. We brunched for awhile and walked home and sat on the back porch to visit some more. The boys came home and we watched a little football and eventually ate some lunch. After our bellies were full, we all decided to take a quick nap!
How cute is she?? She is due with her first baby at Thanksgiving 🙂
My cousin gave this t-shirt to Brody when he was a newborn and finally fits him just right now! It was from a movie project she was on with Bill Murray in 2013!
After naps, it was time for the Gator game. We watched it in the man cave for a bit and my cousin got her newborn snuggles with Molly.
Saturday night we had dinner reservations at Iron. My MIL came to babysit the kids and Matt and I took Alex out for dinner.
We had so much fun getting out and grabbing a nice dinner with her. It was nice to be able to visit without kids interrupting us too!
Sunday was more breakfast out, a little visiting and then time to drop her off at the airport. It was such a quick visit, but we had so much fun catching up!
Sunday night we let Molly have her first big girl bath in the big tub. Madelyn loved being able to bathe with her.
Now I’m catching up with the first episode of Season 2 of Ozark on Netflix. I know that I really really liked Season 1 of this show, but somehow it seems that I have forgotten everything that happened in the first season. I feel so lost in Season 2. I wish they gave me a recap from Season One first!!
Anyway, I hope you have a great week! We will be breaking out all things PUMPKIN today 🙂
Yes to all of the pumpkin! My kids would just go nuts over those blow ups! Molly is getting so big already, what a sweet weekend!
