Happy Monday! How was your weekend? We had a great couple of days with beautiful weather!
On Friday, I volunteered to help chaperone Madelyn’s class field trip to the zoo! The kids were so cute. It was a gorgeous day and we all had a blast! This was the first field trip in over two years thanks to Covid. Brody is in 2nd grade and has still never been on a field trip.

Next, we stopped for a girls’ lunch and manicure date! Such a fun day, and it was so nice for both of us to have that one-on-one time together!

Friday night, we took it easy and had pizza on the back patio. I had to snap this photo of our gorgeous sunset. Such a beautiful view in our backyard.
Saturday was another busy day! I started the day with a workout. I have really been loving my strength workouts, and I’ve shared recently that I can definitely see a difference in tone since I have started incorporating weight training and bodyweight strength classes into my workouts!
I also wanted to share a few of the outfits that I wore or tried on that day. Many of you have asked me to re-link these items, and I will include them here!

Saturday night, we had some friends over for a fun and casual dinner party. I managed to get just a few photos of the group and our spread! We were having such a great time that I almost forgot to take pictures!
We made fresh grapefruit margaritas that were absolutely delicious! I will post the recipe soon!

Sunday, we kept rolling with a family breakfast at Polonza, followed by a quick trip for the kids to see Matt’s new office!
We spent the rest of the morning and afternoon on the boat. It was the best way to take advantage of the gorgeous weather we’ve been having. Such a nice end to this fun-filled weekend…it went by too fast!
