Hello Monday! I didn’t really mean to take most of the Summer off of blogging; but it seems like we have just been none stop since the kids got out of school and like usual, we are just off our normal routine! So blogging has been harder to come by, but hoping I can play catch up a bit during the second half of this month!
We had a really fun week this week welcoming the Blue Angel Airshow back to PENSACOLA BEACH. It is truly a magical week when they are here flying. They begin their practice shows on Wednesday morning with Breakfast with the Blues starting the show at 730am and then fly Thursday, Friday and Saturday for the main event!! This year, I caught every single show!!! It’s not uncommon for us to see Thursday, Friday and Saturday’s show; but we have never gone out to watch the Wednesday show. Me and the kids went with some girlfriends this year and it was really fun!
On Thursday each year, my girlfriend throws an amazing luncheon at Crabs restaurant with all the wives of the Blue Angel pilots. It’s always so much fun and we get to watch the airshow in the best spot to watch!

On Friday, we took the kids out on the boat with us for the practice show and met up with a bunch of friends. It was another beautiful day and the kids all had a blast playing together in the water and getting to come enjoy the show!
We enjoyed the pool and the kids fished and loved watching the sunsets each night!
On Saturday for the main show this year, we bought tickets to Drift and enjoyed the show from there. It was a fun place to watch the show! We have always done Saturdays show by boat, so it was fun to do something different this year.
And I always love when blog or instagram followers come up and say hello and introduce themselves!
It was a weekend for the books for sure!! Until next year….
