It was a busy weekend and I got one day to recuperate now to learn that our schools our cancelled the next two days as we get ready for Hurricane Michael that is headed to the panhandle of Florida! Right now it looks like it is headed towards the Panama City area and all I can do is pray for our coast. We are all too familiar with hurricanes in our area and it’s always scary!
Anyway, on Friday, I got a sneak peek of the newborn/family photos that we took with Annabelle Rose Photography earlier in the week. I’m already dying to see all of them.
Love seeing these babies all snuggled together. I’ve now gotten them obsessed with all having matching pajamas and I’m probably going to go broke!! Brody does not like it when Madelyn and Molly have a matching set and he doesn’t! Cracks me up.
On Monday and Fridays, me and this baby girl get our alone time. This week we had Madelyn with us too and we decided to have a girl day!! I got a little overzealous, but ended up having fun!
I took the girls to Target with me first. Then we went to go visit Daddy at work and then headed for mani/pedis before picking up Brody at school. It was a little hectic doing it all, but we had fun!
Madelyn passed out on the couch when we got home watching a movie.
So Brody and I decided to make this two-ingredient Pumpkin bread that is so easy and so GOOD!
We had a chill night at home and a girls bath to wrap up the night!
Saturday morning I was leaving for Gainesville to go to the University of Florida vs LSU game! Matt offered to stay home with the kiddos for me (with the help of his Mom thankfully), so that I could go back to my Alma Mater for the first time in 8 YEARS. I was so excited. So I passed off the baby and said PEACE! haha.
Us ladies were so excited for our trip! We have 7 babies between us, so we were excited to have an adult day ready for college football.
Trying to be cool…… hahah
We headed to the Swamp when we got into Gainesville. I have so many fun memories at this place. I also used to dream about this buffalo chicken wrap with ranch dressing and sweet potato fries. I was so happy to see it was still on the menu!! It’s the little things 🙂
We walked around campus for just a little bit and all were able to reminisce!
My Dress (currently only available in Navy)
We got to have dinner at Dragonfly which was my favorite Gainesville restaurant!
I shared in my Instastories that I brought this Willow Pump with me for the game day. I bought this pump about two weeks ago and its been a little tricky to get used to, but it’s totally amazing at the same time. So I was actually able to put these in my purse and pump in the restroom during the day. Trust me, I threw that milk away; but it helped relieve me during the day :). I will share more on the pump soon, but it is cordless and fits right in your bra which is amazing.
On Sunday, we had friends come over around lunch time to grill out, play and watching some more football. It was really a gorgeous day and finally a little cooler later in the day to sit outside and enjoy the weather.
It was a great weekend!! We’re buckling down and watching for Hurricane Michael.
