Scenes From Our Weekend | Our First Week Home with Molly

Hello friends!  We’ve been on break over here as we welcomed our newest member of the Malone family, Molly!  Molly was born on Wednesday, August 29th weighing it at 7lbs 10 ounces!   I plan to update all of you with a full birth story as soon as I can get myself together;  but in the meantime, I will share with you our first weekend home with her.  Hopefully all of you that read the blog, follow along on Instagram too, because that’s where I do a lot of quick updating and officially introduced baby Molly 🙂

On Friday, we had a few guests stop by the house and meet Molly and give her some sweet snuggles.  I loved the company and Molly loved the snuggles 🙂

Friday night was my brother’s birthday and we all went over to his house with the kids and celebrated his birthday for dinner.  My Mom cooked for us and we had a great time visiting.  We all laughed that it was finally so nice to have our kids old enough to go off on their own a bit and play together so the adults could actually have some time to visit and now we have a new baby to enter the mix.  At least for now, all she does is sleep 🙂

On Saturday, we pretty much slept and stayed in our pajamas until about 3pm.  We cooked pancakes at home, turned on Game Day for football, and lounged around.  Later that afternoon, we had friends over to come watch a few football games and visit.  We ordered pizza and I made a buffalo chicken dip that I haven’t made in forever and love!

This little thing just slept through all the chaos of four big kids running all around her!

On Sunday, my MIL watched Molly for us for a bit while we took the big kids to the beach.  It was really pretty and nice to squeeze another beach day into Summer.

It was a great weekend to introduce Molly into the family!! We have been soaking up all her sweet snuggles and the kids can’t stop hugging and kissing on her.  It’s been the BEST!!

I love to stock up on a few new cover-ups and dresses and whatever I can snag for the girls! The kids stuff goes so fast, so act quickly.  This pineapple print below was one of my favorites from this summer. I loved that I was able to wear it pregnant, but it’s certainly not a maternity dress.
