Hi friends!! Sorry for the break while we were on vacation! We just got back from Disney World as a family on Tuesday evening and I’m still recovering and reliving our trip in my head a million times over!
We spent four nights in Orlando and tried to fit in as much as possible each day!
I have received some specific questions from a lot of you via Instagram and I plan to address all of those in a post. I’ve uploaded my photos and trying to get myself organized. Here is what I am thinking for a breakdown of posts and I want to know what ya’ll think:

If you want to read up on all of my posts from our trip last year, you can catch them all here. I thought I had this post scheduled the day we left town, but somehow it never published!
I posted this photo below on my Instastories yesterday and I had several questions about it. I actually had a delicious Acai Bowl while we were at the Four Seasons and I decided to remake it myself when I got home. Sadly, we don’t really have a place here in Pensacola that serves Acai bowls that I know of; so I don’t get them often. This turned out really delicious and it was so simple.
This was just a simple banana, spinach and water smoothie.
I added granola to the bottom of the bowl, poured in the smoothie, then topped with strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, coconut flakes and a little more granola. It was delicious and a nice change up from my normal smoothie that I drink from a straw!
I’m sorry this post is pretty short and sweet. I’m still regrouping from our trip. I had to fly home from Orlando with the kids by myself because we left my husband there for a conference he had, and the kids did me in!! More power to all of you Mamas that tackle traveling with young kids by yourself and make it look easy. It totally sends my blood pressure through the roof. I’m pretty sure my nerves were shot when we got home on Tuesday night.
I also realized I’m so behind for not having TSA Precheck. Do any of you have that and isn’t it just scheduling a simple appointment at your local airport?? I need to get on that ASAP!
Thankfully my kids are back to school tomorrow for a few hours, so hopefully I will actually squeeze in a workout and work on a few new posts for you guys!!

That yogurt bowl looks delicious! Thanks for the link up!
So jealous of your Disney trip!! My kids are determined to go back and we just went in September. How far is it to Orlando? We drove 8 hours from NC :)… but with 4 kids flying seemed like more of a pain, and way too expensive.
Yes!! Ours is about a 7 hour drive, probably 8 or more with kids! We would have driven this time, but my husband had to stay in Orlando for a conference and I wasn’t about to drive home by myself for 8 hours 😬!!
I have TSA Pre-check and it is the best thing ever! It’s so easy and I didn’t have to go to the airport just to a local field office. You should def get it! Looking forward to your Disney posts!
Congrats on surviving a trip to Disney! Whew!

Can’t wait for your Disney recaps! Kyle has TSA pre-check and it makes his life so easy he usually takes one kid through security with him while I have to wait with the other one (he could take both but can’t handle it haha) so I’m going to get it before our next trip so we can all just breeze right through. It just takes a huge stressor off your shoulders since kids are horrible at waiting.
We are headed to Disney soon, also! We fly quite a bit (my four-year-old has clocked in almost 60 flights) and Pre-Check is just a MUST! Tip – apply for Global Entry and you’ll automatically be given Pre-Check. Global Entry is just a bit more expensive, but it will also give you expedited re-entry the next time you do international travel. The pre-check line and perks extend to children (so you’ll be able to take the little ones through the special line, use the metal detectors instead of body scanner, etc.) but if you travel internationally with them, they’ll need their own Global Entry card to get expedited immigration. Let me know if you have any questions – I love blogging about our travels, too! 🙂
