It was our 5th Annual Dirty Santa party this year! I can’t believe we have been in our home now for 5 Christmas’. This is always a party that I look forward to every year. It is typically around the middle of December and it’s an all girls party. Everyone brings one wrapped gift with no tag. We set a pretty high limit (around $60) and hopefully it is a gift you are really excited to go home with! After the first year, I made a print out of our directions to the game so there wouldn’t be any confusion. You can find them at the bottom of the post!
I had most of the food catered this year, but I always love to cook a little bit. I made these Maple Sausage Crescents in the shape of a Christmas tree that were so cute and quite the hit! So delicious and made with 4 ingredients. We also served this Heirloom Tomato Quiche that was cooked in a jellyroll pan that was to die for!!! I wish I had the recipe to share. It was perfect cut up in squares and could be eaten with your hands if you wanted!
We started the party at 6:30pm and we usually spend the first hour over cocktails and then I make everyone fix a plate for dinner. Then after dinner, we sit in a circle and do our gift exchange! I love seeing what everyone brings. We usually have around 20-25 girls. I have served this Ms. Holiday Punch for the last several years because it is so festive and so good. Other than that, we pretty much just serve wine. I highly suggest you start one of these holiday parties if you don’t already participate in one 🙂
Would love to hear what some of the best gifts were!
Yes!! I love hearing what the gifts were too!
Jewelry and a couple of different clutches were the popular items this year. We had some really cute jewelry from local boutiques, a cute Gigi Clutch, sunglasses too. It was really fun!
Hi Annie,
Where did you get your garland that is on the staircase?
Party looks absolutely beautiful.
Thanks so much! It is real garland that I buy and string with lights.
