I’m just a month late posting this, but it just makes it that much more fun to go back through all the photos and re-live the night! I can’t believe this was our 6th year! That means we have lived in this house for 6 years, thrown this party every year and now this was our final one in this house! That makes me a little sad, but also really excited for new ideas at the new house!

This party is for the girls only and every one brings one wrapped gift with no tag. We have always had a pretty high price point. We have done everything from about $50-$75. Popular items are purses, jewelry, hats, or any fun items you can think that girls in their 30’s might love 🙂 We do a Dirty Santa gift exchange and you can see our rules that we go by at the end of this post.

We usually have anywhere from about 20-30 girls. The last few years I have hired some help to have on the night of the party! I learned that it made the night much more enjoyable to have a helper. So they help cook most of the food for the party and then help in the kitchen the night of the party to get all the food out. We put out appetizers, but then put out dinner and make everyone have a plate before we start the Dirty Santa game.

Pimento and Pepper Jelly Bites

This Mushroom and Butternut Squash Rigatoni recipe was so incredible!! I did not make it but I need to see if they will give me the recipe. Everyone was so in love with it! I also did not make the Shrimp and Endives bites above, so I don’t have a recipe for that one either.

I have made this punch every year I think. It is such a hit and everyone always enjoys having at least one glass or so before they switch to wine. I love it because I can make it ahead of time.

It is always my favorite night of the year!! I look forward to this party all year long. I love that everyone dresses up and gets festive and I love seeing all the different gifts that everyone brings. We always do the party on a week night, but it doesn’t stop us from having a great time!
