This week has been a BIG one! I’m worn out. We celebrated my 34th birthday this week and a really fun Valentines Day party all after we had just been to New Orleans for a pretty amazing Mardi Gras celebration!
On my birthday, a group of girls all came to meet me for a super fun birthday lunch. I’ve learned that if you can, its really fun to schedule something for the day of your actual birthday. Maybe a lunch with one friend, a group of friends, or a day at the spa. It just makes it feel extra special 🙂
These sunglasses were in my car from Madelyn. We bought these for her ice cream 3rd Birthday party last summer!

The kids really made Valentines fun this year!!! They had the cutest heart outfits from Dondolo and let me have a little photo shoot with them. I just can’t believe how big Molly looks in these photos.
We made Valentines cookies. I bought the pre-made heart cookies that you could buy at Target. I tried to keep my life simple as possible because I’m really not a great baker. I am going to try making some sugar cookies of my own for Easter though!
I love waking up early and surprising them with pancakes. Sometimes I will go out and get some doughnuts, but I love doing pancakes and setting them up a special table.
Valentines morning I did spoil the kids. I was super excited about these homemade playdoh/sensory kits that I had ordered. The rest of the things are some little Target dollar items plus some new sippy cups for school.

For Valentines Night, we had about 10 couples over to my Mom’s house for a Valentines Wine Tasting dinner . It turned out to be a blast!! The idea all started about a month ago at a girls wine dinner when they said they would love for my Mom’s boyfriend to host a wine pairing for them because he is a sommelier. We decided it would be really fun to do on Valentine’s Day, so everyone chipped in and we set up a really fun night of food, wine and a great time.
I downloaded a simple dinner menu template from Etsy and then bought the cutest balloon gardens from Glamfettico. It was DIY and I promise you she makes it so easy. I just love the way it turned out!!

It was such a fun way to spend Valentines Day instead of going out to a restaurant. We all had a blast.
I also have to share with you guys my favorite Pajama company is having a huge sale. I just gave a pair to my MIL for Valentines Day because I got her hooked on them too!! Sizes are running out fast, so grab them while you can. Sale goes until the 24th!
