I can not believe it has taken me this long to share the girls birthday party on the blog! I know I shared lots of the info on Instagram back in September of 2019 when we had the party, but I never sat down to share all the details here!! This party was so much fun to put together and of course I got carried away. The whole party decor was inspired by a precious outfit from Little English clothing that the girls had. I loved the pretty pinks and blues and we made it a “Unicorn Tea Party” because Madelyn wanted some unicorns added in!
We wanted to be able to include boys and girls to the party, so I will share with you how we did that. To get the party started, I reached out to my favorite party girls, Nico & Lala, and had them get the invitations started which set the tone for the entire party!
I have always wanted to try one of these balloon mosaics from Creative Heart Studio, so I decided to try the Unicorn. I am pretty sure I cursed my whole way through that project and desperately need to find someone in Pensacola that can make these for me!!! My turned out so bad honestly, but I did get it to stand up and work for the party. The company is based in Miami, but you can buy her templates and do them yourself like I tried to do.
I got TONS of inspiration for this Tea Party from Courtney at Pizzazerie. She threw an adorable tea party for her daughter and I loved a lot of her ideas. This pretty set up of tutus, boas and pearl necklaces, all came from her.
Pink Tutus – The Hairbow Center
Pearl Necklaces – Target
Boas – Hobby Lobby
I purchased the balloon garland from Glamfetti Co and it is a DIY kit. I highly recommend investing in an automatic balloon pump! That will save your life.
I will source everything I can at the bottom of this post for you.
Table Cloth | Napkins | Chargers | Paper Plates | Tea Cups and Saucers | Gold Flatware | Pink Cups | Vases | Candles
Publix made the unicorn cake and J’s Bakery did the cookies.
The cups, water bottle labels, food tags, straws, and napkins all came from Nico & Lala. They design the cutest swag for the party with the invitations.
I set up a foldable table for the boys and made it a “Knights Table.” It turned out really cute with some castle swag from Oriental Trading and a few light blue capes that were custom made from Etsy.
We had an amazing gal come to do face painting at the party which was a big hit. I can’t recommend her enough. Her company is Sophie’s Smiley faces and she was amazing!
We set the boys up at their own Knights table (all decor from Oriental Trading) and let them color their masks and eat lunch over here while the girls were at the tea party table learning a few etiquette lessons and having their tea sandwiches 🙂
After playing and face painting, we sat the girls down at the big table to eat and drink their “tea.” My sweet nanny, Kelly, agreed to dress up as the Princess Fairy Godmother and teach the girls a few lessons at the party. It was too cute! Look at the girls with their pinkies out 🙂
