I am so late to this post and poor Molly hasn’t had an update since she turned ONE! But here I am trying to fill in the gaps! She is getting so full of personality these days, constantly trying to keep her with her big bro and sis who she affectionately calls “brobro” and “sissy”! You can find the rest of the update below…
20 Months as of 4/29/20
Weight: 26.5 pounds and 33.5 inches tall! 83rd percentile for both!
Clothes: 18-24 months or 2T!
Sleep: You are probably my best sleeper of ALL! You sleep from 7pm to 7am or later every night and you take a 2-3 hour nap each afternoon. During all of this Pandemic, we have had days where you miss your nap, and you do fine with that too!
Schedule: Your schedule has really stayed the same in a lot of ways. Wake up around 730am, breakfast and bottle, playtime, lunch around 1130am/12 and then get ready for your nap. Wake up from nap and play. Bottle usually around 3pm and then dinner around 5pm. Bath at 630 and bed at 7.
Health: Knock on wood, you have been pretty healthy over all lately. BUT then, during COVID, you came down with a 105.2 fever at 2:30am which we ended up going to the ER for at 4am and they ran tests for a UTI (which they had to use a catheter for) and then an IV for blood work. They said it was just a virus, so of course I had to call and get you tested for Corona too, so we could rule that out. All of that to end up at our pediatricians office later that day to do a Strep test in the car that took 2 minutes to find out that you were positive for Strep!! It was quite a day. That had to be documented.
Crying: You hate getting your diaper changed and will run from us. You also will fight us getting dressed a lot lately. And you have already hit the stage where you hate hearing the word NO.
Feeding: You eat three meals a day. You eat all kinds of things. You love sweet potatoes and turkey and chicken and grilled cheese and avocado. Beans, rice, yogurt, all fruit. You pretty much eat everything.
Likes: You love following your big bro and sis. You love walks and bath time. You are a great sleeper. You love the pool and do great at the beach.
Dislikes: diaper changes and getting dressed. You have been showing us a little attitude around here lately!
Milestones: It has been since your first birthday since I have done an update. So I know you have grown so much. You love talking and waving. You can say your Grandma’s names, you are spitting out new words left and right. You call Brody and Madelyn, “bro bro” and “sissy.”
Places You’ve Gone: You’ve been to Rosemary Beach, Destin, The Bahamas and I’m sure a few other weekend getaways. You are a pretty great traveler.
