Last weekend we headed down to Rosemary Beach for the annual Uncorked Wine Festival with some friends. We made reservations at the brand new O-Ku restaurant in Alys Beach on Friday night and it was so delicious. We ordered a lot of different small plates and shared everything and I loved everything we tried. We also got the chance to chat with the general manager of the restaurant group that owns O-Ku and learned that they are based in Charleston and have 9 different locations as well as other restaurants as well. We’re excited to see this new spot on 30A.
The tuna on top of the crispy rice was incredible and we loved all the sushi as well.
After dinner, we went to have drinks at Pescado at the rooftop bar. We only had time for one drink because everything in Rosemary shuts down pretty early.
Saturday morning we woke up and went for breakfast at one of our favorite spots, Big Bad Breakfast. I wore this cute quilted skort set that I can’t stop wearing. It comes in a bunch of colors and I’m wearing a size XL.
After breakfast, the girls went for a walk to do some shopping around the town.
Then we had to take one stop to the rooftop at the Pearl because it was such a beautiful day.
It was time to head home and get dressed and ready for the wine festival. I wish I could link this cute brown dress, but it has been sold out everywhere. I have been wearing the heck out of these cute Adidas tennis shoes too and they have been sold out too.
It was 1pm and time to hit the wine fest. These wine festival tickets are super hard to get your hands on and I was able to get three at the last minute, so just the girls went to the wine festival and the boys posted up at the bar and watched some football. They weren’t mad about that 🙂
I ran into Ashley from The Fancy Ashley which was fun if you follow her on instagram.
The festival was fun but it was really hot and crowded. We took a break from the festival for a bit and joined the boys at the bar to watch a little football. We met up with my Mom and her crew as well.
My cute Mama!
We went back out for a little more wine festivities and then headed back to the house once it wrapped up.
The wine festival lines the Main Street in Rosemary and lots of the local restaurants set up tents and hand out wine and food from each tent. Then they also have larger tents set up with tables and music that you can sit and enjoy as well. The food was all pretty good, but I felt like the wine was just okay. It is mainly just an excuse to be outside, day drink and enjoy a gorgeous Fall day.
That evening we had dinner reservations at Gallions. We showered and changed and walked to dinner. We all had a pretty fabulous meal at Gallions that night. The lights were all lit up on the trees outside and it felt so festive.
It was a great adult weekend enjoying one of my favorite times of year down in Rosemary.
Sunday morning we hit up my favorite breakfast wraps from the Summer Kitchen and then we slowly packed up and hit the road back home. You can find more Rosemary trips below and some of the wine festivals we have hit on 30A.
