Rosemary Wine Festival 2020

We went back to the Rosemary Beach wine festival this year even though there wasn’t a wine fest!! HA! Well…basically we had this house booked almost an entire year ahead of time and even when Rosemary decided to cancel the wine fest due to COVID, we decided we would still all escape for an adult weekend and host our own wine festival. My moms boyfriend is a sommelier, so obviously excellent with wines. So he volunteered to put together an entire wine tasting just for our group! It was so much fun!

We stayed at the Living the Dream Cottage & Carriage House this year and really loved it. It was beautifully done with a gorgeous widow’s peak on the very top with views of the Gulf. You will see photos of a cute little courtyard below which was great for hosting our wine tasting, but would have been an awesome place for them to put a hot tub or small pool in!

We got there on Thursday and went out for a bit! On Friday, we walked around the town and drove down to the Red Bar that had been redone. It looks exactly the same. Its amazing. After lunch, we stopped in Seaside or a drink and then slowly made our way back to Rosemary. We ate dinner at home most every night and ended the nights with Cards against Humanity which was pretty hilarious when playing with your MOM!

Saturday afternoon we had our wine tasting! We started in the courtyard of our house and traveled to different places around the house for each tasting. It made it really fun! We had a catered meal which was absolutely incredible and so.much.fun!!

We hired 30A Signature Catering for the food and he did such an incredible job. I wish I could remember what all the courses were but basically each one outdid the next!! It was so good!
